One of the coolest gadgets that were presented this year at E3 is the Nintendo Wii U. Let’s start by saying that standing out at one of these events is already a task worth mentioning but being able to impress everybody with your products is a whole different scenario; the competition is high and everybody comes up with different gadgets that promise to change the gaming world as we see it.
The Nintendo Wii U seems like something that doesn’t fit in an already existing category; not in a bad way but more in the sense that it does so many things that it would be fair to just characterize it as being one thing. For example, let’s just take the controller from Nintendo that offers a new way to play the games you like. This is true, with the new controller you can aim, throw and control your moves while you are playing on your TV. The touch screen allows you for a unique gaming experience if you use it to control the game; you can, for example, throw ninja stars by sliding your fingers on the controller and aiming it in the direction you want to hit.
The Nintendo Wii U controller can also be considered a portable gaming console in the sense that you don’t need a TV to play with it. If you are playing and someone needs to use the TV, you can just continue playing on the controller thanks to the large screen and the two shoulder buttons and two triggers on the sides.
You can also use the Nintendo Wii U to stay in touch with your family in friends. It is equipped with a front camera and a microphone and it can offer high quality video conferences. The touch screen makes it possible for you to play different board games with your friends such as checkers but it also makes it possible for you draw with the help of the stylus.
Basically the Nintendo Wii U is a very complex gadget that has already left most gamers wanting to have one. Despite this fact, it is very easy to use and can help consumers have fun no matter if they choose to play with friends or alone.
